Everyone has arrived!...as you can see from the photos.
Talking to the cadets about how they found the journey there seemed to be a recurring theme: LONG!
L/Bdr Iredale from Worcester said it was 'Long, hot and boring.'
Fingers crossed it'll be a little more interesting during the journey home, as he will be celebrating his 15th birthday next Saturday.
Cdt Good and Cdt Ellerton from 2 Sector enjoyed their coach drive...much at the expense of some unfortunate souls who spilt drinks on themselves along the way!
However Cdt Bishop from Churchill wasn't fazed by much...as he slept for most of the journey. Asking what part of camp he's most looking forward to he said the fieldcraft, as it'll be his first time camping out.
Talking to JCIC there is a quiet confidence as to how the week will pan out, although most talk was centred on a comparison of break stops each coach had on the journey up. I'm sure their concentration will turn to lesson preparation soon...
The Commandants parade has taken place and once again we have seen several promotions and award givings. Congratulations to the following Cadets and Instructors:
Sgt Hibel
S/Sgt Hawkes
Sgt Major Cook achieved Master Cadet
Lt Arrowsmith
Lt Burrows
Major Blackburn
QMSI Taylor
The sun is setting and admin is on the agenda this evening but the cadets are soon away to bed to enjoy a good sleep, although it appears most of them did that on the way up...
For those parents wanting to ask any questions, MSN chat is available via the address at the top of this page.
When we are free we will be online to talk.
Good night.

COMMANDANTS PARADE - PROMOTIONS
Progress so far....
Communications have told us all coaches are progressing well so far. The first arrivals should be reaching us by around 5pm.
Camp structure is taking shape, with Barry Buddon offering us an impressive range of facilities we’re filling offices and organising kit at a good pace ready for when the cadets land.
Our PR office seems to be filled with a large quantity of wires, gadgets, cameras and laptops…so we’ll be busy updating the Blog site with interviews, video footage, photographs and more over the coming days.
So the camcorder’s being readied for 5pm. Make sure to check back later to see how perky the cadets are after their six hour plus journey!
